Our Family’s 2023 Goals

Ryan and I are really passionate about setting goals. It was such a special moment during our first month of dating when we created a 5-Year list of goals while exploring Sabtang, Batanes back in 2019. Our goal list spans 5-7 years and captures our aspirations in life. At that time, we didn’t have a baby yet, so our focus revolved around travel, finances, and our entrepreneurial ventures.

Every year, we still write goals in our google spreadsheet and every month, we revisit the list together and talk about what to continue or discontinue; what are the priorities; how much should we save up for specific goals and so on and so forth. We even have healthy arguments sometimes on what to prioritize. Lol.

We are excited to share of our goals for 2023 with you!

Ryan and I have been talking always of what we feel in our lives right now and we would agree that this is currently the best of our lives. And I think this is so true. We have our little Levi with us, we have a business and a trustworthy team and this fulfilled our goal to work near our little one without travelling for a total of almost 8 hours everyday. We are healthy. I am not saying that we already made it because we still continue to dream. But have you had that feeling of contentment but still pursuing more on what life has to offer?

The journey to where we are right now is not easy and mind you, it is true that having your own business and team is not for the faint-hearted. Although I look strong and brave on the outside, I have had a lot of crying because of our business. Haha! Good thing I have my husband who reminds me to move forward after consoling me. Little Levi’s smiles even made all those bearable.

So to you, please don’t ever forget to dream BIG DREAMS. All lessons are worth the risk!
